KinectUs LLC ("KinectUs LLC" or "we" or "us") is committed to respecting the privacy of users of its mobile app and associated web site and services ("KinectUs"). This Privacy Policy describes our personal information gathering, use and disclosure practices. It does not apply to information collected by KinectUs off-line.

Information We Collect
When you establish or update your KinectUs account, you may provide certain personal information, including but not limited to as applicable your name; age; e-mail address; social network user names; mobile device identifiers; image, past, current or future location; and professional background. We may request information about your preferences, interests and activities and other demographic information. You may also provide personal information to us when you contact us with technical or other questions about KinectUs.We may collect and analyze information relating to your use of KinectUs for statistical purposes. This information may be analyzed and/or aggregated to determine appropriate modifications and enhancements to KinectUs, and aggregated and statistical information may be shared with our business partners and potential business partners. KinectUs is designed to help you connect with people nearby, and we use the location and contextual information available through your mobile device to help accomplish this purpose. If you wish to interact with other users and opt in to searching for connections to other users while using KinectUs, we may share your information with other users, including your profile picture, name, general location, and any other information you have agreed to share. The information you share when participating in KinectUs, including information you share through messaging, is your choice and responsibility. You acknowledge that other users who receive information about you may use such information or disclose it to other persons outside of our control and without your knowledge. Your information may be subject to abuse, misuse, and monitoring by others, and you share your information at your own risk. You may decide to (or be required to) connect KinectUs with Facebook™, LinkedIn™ and/or other of your social network providers. In this case, you agree that we may access your third party social network account, and the social network provider will provide us with access to certain information that you have provided to it. We will use, store and disclose such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Use and Disclosure of Information
We do not share your personal information with others except as indicated in this Privacy Policy or when we inform you and give you an opportunity to opt out of having your personal information shared. KinectUs LLC will use the personal information you provide to deliver KinectUs and its functionality (including sharing certain information about you with other KinectUs users nearby), enhance and modify KinectUs, alert you of new features and enhancements, respond to your questions, and/or notify you of upgrade opportunities, promotions, and special offers. You agree that we may communicate with you via app messages, text messaging, email and similar technologies for any purpose relating to KinectUs.We may also:
- Disclose your personal information to service providers that work for us. These third parties may have access to your personal information; if they do, this access is only so that they may perform these tasks on our behalf and they are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
- Release personal information and/or other information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with state, federal or international laws or respond to a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or other government request.

- Allow advertisers and advertising networks to collect information about your mobile device (including mobile device IDs), activities and desired activities, and geographic location to enable them to display targeted ads to you.
Children
We do not knowingly allow children under the age of thirteen (13) to sign up for an account on KinectUs or to otherwise disclose any of their personal information to us. If you are under 13 years old, please do not use or access KinectUs. We do not intend to collect information about children under the age of 13. If we later obtain actual knowledge that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user's information from our systems. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under 13 whom you believe has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us at hello@kinectus.net so that we may delete and remove the child's information from our systems.Opt-Out
We provide you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving certain communications from us and our business partners, by emailing us at hello@kinectus.net. In addition, all marketing communications from KinectUs will provide you with the opportunity to unsubscribe from future marketing mailings. Even if you opt out of such mailings, however, we reserve the right to send you e-mail and other communications to disclose maintenance and other service-related issues.Access to Account
If you are a registered user of KinectUs, you can change your account information through the account profile component of KinectUs. You may need to supply certain information so that we can try to verify that you have authority to modify this information.Third-Party Sites
KinectUs may contain links to other mobile or internet apps, sites or services. We have no responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party apps, sites or services, including the privacy practices of our advertisers and business partners.The fact that an ad or other type of advertisement may be presented in KinectUs is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with the associated third party, and we do not have any control over or responsibility for their privacy policies or practices. These apps or services may collect data or solicit personal information from you. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements associated with any third-party apps, sites or services that may be advertised or otherwise linked to from KinectUs.
Legal Requirements; Sale of Business
We intend to protect your privacy to the fullest extent possible as described in this policy while also fulfilling our responsibility to uphold all applicable laws and regulations. Due to potential legal requirements and other possible circumstances, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed or accessed in ways not otherwise described in this policy. KinectUs is hosted in the United States. If you are accessing KinectUs from outside the United States, please be advised that through your continued use of KinectUs, which is governed by United States law and this Privacy Policy, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.Security Measures
We have implemented reasonable and industry standard security measures on KinectUs to help protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the personal information under our control. Additionally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that our third party business partners provide sufficient protection for personal information.No method of security, or method of storage, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
